For those who opened the Shopify website today, you must have noticed that Shopify is not working properly. Unbelievable but it did happen! Shopify and many websites crashed.
When opened earlier in the day, the Shopify site showed a 500 network service error.
You are not alone. Take a look at Reddit and Twitter posts and you’ll see that everyone is experiencing this problem.
Why is Shopify Down?
Content delivery company Cloudflare experienced a global outage this morning, cutting off access to hundreds of sites around the world.
The Cloudflare down left Discord, Twitter, NordVPN, Google, Coinbase, Shopify, DoorDash, Groww, Buffer, iSpirt, Upstox, and Social Blade all affected by the outage.
If you are affected by this error, please be patient. It will be fixed as soon as possible.
Is the problem fixed now?
Cloudflare tweeted that a fix has been implemented and is monitoring the results. For now, the company says “This incident has been resolved.”
